Dog Training Online

For dog lover’s are books that are available online about training and understanding dogs in which you?
purchase actually helpful
Plenty of books that i would recommend. Wether or not they’ll be “helpful” depends on each individual reader and how they actually USE the methods in said books.
Cesar Millan has some good points in all of his books. All the training books by Koehler. Brenda Aloff has some good body language type books. Stanley Coren has some good books. If you’re looking for BASIC clicker training for tricks, Victoria Stillwell has a book out.
It really depends on what you’re looking for and how you implement what you read.
If you’re looking for serious (behavior related) work then you probably wont want Stillwell (who does basic – VERY BASIC – clicker training) but WOULD want to look at Aloff and Millan (body language and basic instinct). If you’re looking for basic stuff and have a dog that doesn’t need behavior work, Stillwell would probably be better than Millan.
And i’m just using those two (Stillwell/Millan) as examples because almost everyone knows the basic of what they do and deal with (IE their methods).
